Riley Steele searches for love and lust after suffering a heartbreak. The guy she’s been sleeping with has ulterior motives, fueling Riley to find explicit encounters with other sexy couples, manipulative men and horny women. She discovers the intensity of desire and the awakening of the naughty whore within her soul. Turning lust into love becomes her driving obsession in the shadows of the real world. Lights out, and the sultry slut is fully revealed.

Apparently the best way to get over a broken heart is to get right out there and get you some new sex. I suppose it’s a valid hypothesis. Who am I to argue? That is the subject of this film. Post relationship sex is clearly the best way to get over the past. Especially if this is the kind of sex you’re having.

Digital Playground uses some of the hottest girls in the business and this film is no exception. The scenes are shot excellently with great camera work and the picture quality of the Bluray version is great. Very little dot crawl and very clean images. The girls themselves are dressed hot in every scene so you’re pretty much ready to go before the action starts. The sex is very well done too. They don’t linger in the same position for too long and there’s not too much awkwardness when switching to a new position. It flows very well.

The film is not, however, without its flaws. The films is very much about Riley Steele’s character so you see a lot of sex with her. Now if you’re looking for a film that focuses mainly on one girl, this is a great one for you. If, on the other hand, you want a wide variety of ladies this isn’t a good choice. I thought the story was fairly weak and the film was a little on the short side. The sound editing was also in need of help. At times the background music was too loud relative to the speaking and it was difficult to understand without turning the volume up. The 5.1 effect was mostly wasted as the sound position was often generic. I can let that go on a DVD version but I feel the Bluray version should be of higher quality.

This was a pretty good film over all and I would recommend it. It’s good that you get the combo package since it may be the situation that you want to watch this in the bedroom and may not have a Bluray player there. While the selection of adult content on BD is somewhat limited compared to its DVD counterpart, Digital Playground has done an excellent job putting some of their best films out on the format. If you are looking for a good adult bluray title “Lights Out” would make an excellent choice.

Rating: ★★★½☆
