Directed by Wellesley graduate Ilana Rothman, the film stars one of the most dynamic feminists in porn currently pursuing her MFA at NYU, Lorelei Lee. A revolution in adult cinema, An Open Invitation represents a new generation of women in porn. Unlike other adult films, it addresses growing social trends of sexual independence, demonstrating how real women and couples are enhancing their relationships by extending them.
The film was released in Europe May 1st and in North America June 14th.
On July 17, Private Media Group, in conjunction with Good Vibrations, will celebrate the release of the feature-length adult film produced by Kink.com in association with Private Media Group at Club Kiss in San Francisco. Join author, activist and sexologist Carol Queen as she moderates a panel discussion with director Ilana Rothman, lead actress India Summer, Club Kiss hosts Sarah and Chris Kiss, and author of The Ethical Slut: A Guide to Infinite Sexual Possibilities, Dossie Easton. Panelists will discuss the changing dynamics of modern relationships and how a new generation of women in Porn is influencing the industry. In addition to a pre-panel cocktail party with delightful treats from Good Vibrations, there will be a screening following the discussion and panelists will be available for questions.
